The Synergy Group:

It is the technical group in the ECE department created by students with the help of a faculty advisor and the HOD in the year 2004. It aims to promote Industrial Interaction, organize in-house technical Seminars, arrange Guest Lecturers, work on R&D Projects etc.

During past 19 years, the group has organized an array of events to add different feathers to its aura. It also regularly organizes an annual event ROBO RACE during cultural festival ANTARNAAD in the Institute, where as much as 50 technocrats participated.

Objectives:

  • To inculcate knowledge and awareness in the latest technologies and advances in the field of Electronics & Communication
  • To keep the students up to date and competitive in the workplace and provide them with the tools necessary to help them grow both personally and professionally
  • To organize Quizzes, technical paper contests
  • To develop the skill of students in areas of Robotics, Embedded System, DSP and MAT Lab Simulation

Outcomes:

  • To cultivate fraternal spirit amongst the teachers, senior and junior students
  • To bring about effective linkage between technical institutions, industry & society
  • To motivate students through Awards and Prizes, for furthering the objectives of Technical Education

EVENTS

The students were required to give presentation on the working of electronic appliances in detail. The aim was to boost their confidence and speaking skills was a great platform for interaction between the students and faculty

Brain Booster

  • Organised by SYNERGY, the competition on 6/4/2019, was divided in three rounds
  • Round 1 "juggle quiz" - general aptitude based objective questions
  • Round 2 "circuit master" - circuit will be displayed on the screen for a limited time delay (30 - 45 seconds)
  • Then the students have to answer the question related to that circuit
  • Round 3 - "circuit implementation”
Amateur station operator’s certificate exam ASOC

Department prepared the student to obtain an amateur radio license in India.

Seven student passed an exam conducted by the ministry of communications (Amateur station operator’s certificate exam ASOC)

Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular service that brings people of Electronics and communication together globally. People can use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, to save life in natural disaster all without the Internet or cell phones.

It's fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need.

Each of seven student are allotted specific call sign through which they can be uniquely identified Ham internationally.
